The Certificate in Initiatic Art Therapy 2023-24 program comprises a series of six training modules for a limited number of interested professionals and students. The course aims to enable its participants to integrate art therapy approaches into the existing framework of their current practice - be it as counsellor, social worker, teacher, nurse, artist or psychologist.

The training will incorporate our online courses on The Transformation Journey and Healing Trauma with Guided Drawing. Students who have previously completed our Healing Trauma with Guided Drawing training will be able to apply for exemption from Modules 4 & 5 or complete these for a reduced fee. Module 3 will include The Transformation Journey as one of the components, and credit will be similarly applied.

Students are expected to be available to participate during the set course module weekends, although some flexibility will be possible.

In future students are able to extend the training to include the Clay Field Therapy® modality.

Students will complete a total of 108 group hours. The training is recognised as professional development with ACA and ANZACATA.
